Footage from Excelsior Hog Farm shows pigs bleeding and suffering from tumours, hernias, and open wounds. Pregnant pigs are forced into metal cages the size of their own bodies, unable to turn around or move for months on end.

Excelsior was also caught committing criminal animal abuse - aggressively shocking pigs in the face with electric prods, repeatedly hitting and kicking the animals, cutting off their tails and ripping out the testicles of distressed, screaming piglets with no anesthetic, and so much more.

What consequences did Excelsior Hog Farm face? None. The industry abuses animals with impunity. The Excelsior 4, however, face charges for showing the public the inherent cruelty within animal agriculture.
